At a display at Fort McNair, Washington, D.C., May 15, soldiers from Fort Lewis, Wash., take charge of the Interim Armored Vehicle (IAV) III Mobile Gun System and the IAV III Infantry Carrier Vehicle, members of a family of interim assault vehicles being developed by General Motors General Dyanamiscs Land Systems as a part of the Army transformation. The vehicles were displayed throughout the region before the Joint Services Open House at Andrews Air Force Base May 18 to 20.
