Description
Español: Celebración de la que fue la primera misa cristiana en territorio continental de México, llevada a cabo en la población maya de Potonchán, hoy municipio de Centla, Tabasco el 17 de abril de 1519 durante el viaje de Hernán Cortés. Oficiada por Fray Bartolomé de Olmedo y el clérigo Juan Díaz., y en donde se bautizaron 20 indígenas entre ellas la célebre Malintzin a la que se la puso por nombre Marina.
