These three Panavia Tornados are in special markings to celebrate the 35th Anniversary of the formation of TTTE, the Tri-National Tornado Training Establishment. This was a unit based at RAF Cottesmore to train crews from all three nations who designed and built Tornado. The unit operated from 1980 till 1999, using aircraft from all three countries.
From left to right the aircraft are:-
'I-35', Tornado A-200 '6-16' from 6 Stormo, Italian Air Force,
'B-35', Tornado GR4 'ZA612' from XV(R)sqn, Royal Air Force
and
'G-35', Tornado IDS '45+71' from TLG-33, German Air Force.
They are seen in the static display at the 2015 Royal International Air Tattoo, RAF Fairford, UK.
