English: The Moon pyramid is the dominating feature along the Teotihuacan's "mall" - to allude to the mall in Washington DC... It s a terraced pyramid of four sections, geometrically adjoined at the front end and forming a broad terrace at each level. The steps to the terraces and then up to the top of the pyramid are quite steep and can easily be climbed facing up, although it is significantly more difficult on the way down... It was done on purpose, so the faithful would always have their visage in one way or another facing the altar/the sanctuary. The picture was taken by my friend Felipe Quintana from Mazatlan, Mexico.
