بالطاعن الضارب الرامي إذا اقتتلوا... بالموت أحمر، بالضرغامة العادي
بالدهر في نقم، بالبحر في نعم... بالبدر في ظلم، بالصدر في النادي
نعم، هو الحق وحاباني به قدر... من السماء، فوافاني لميعادِ
ولم أكن قبل ذاك النعش أعلمه... أن الجبال تهادى فوق أعوادِ
كفاك فارفق بما استودعت من كرم... رواك كل قطوب البرق رعّاد
يبكي أخاه الذي غيبت وابله... تحت الصفيح، بدمع رائح غادِ
حتى يجودك دمع الطل منهمرا... من أعين الزهر لم تبخل بإسعادِ

ولاتزل صلوات الله دائمة... على دفينك لا تحصى بتعدادِ
Português: Aghmat - Túmulo do poeta português (nascido em Beja) Al-Mu’tamid.

O rei poeta Al-Mu’tamid, filho e sucessor do rei de Sevilha foi nomeado governador de Silves com apenas 12 anos. Al-Mu’tamid, como é sabido, depois de ter sido derrotado e destronado, em 1091 (484 H.), após a queda de Sevilha, foi desterrado para Aghmat povoação ao sul de Marrquexe. Aqui morreu está enterrado. O poema traduzido:

...regue-te o chuvisco vespertino e matinal... antes de olhar este esquife mal sabia eu que altas montanhas sobre tábuas repousaram que as taciturnas nuvens te reguem entre raios e trovões

sobre esta lage tão larga.
English: Aghmat - Tomb of the Portuguese poet (born in Beja) Al-Mu' tamid. The king Al-Mu' tamid, son and successor of the king of Seville was nominated governor of Silves (Portugal) with only 12 years. Al-Mu' tamid, after having been defeated, in 1091 (484 H.), after the fall of Seville, was exiled for Aghmat at the south of Marraquexe. Here he died. Please someone translate the poem
