Reason for the nomination:

As I explained in my edit summary on the English Wikipedia page for the President, this image appears to be sourced completely through own work or fabricated. It has been misleadingly placed on numerous pages on various Wikipedia projects as the 'seal' of the Presidency, when there is no evidence to corroboroate that this is the infact the seal used by the President. There is little information online about the use of a presidential seal, and neither the Constitution nor organic law on national symbols mention a presidental seal, but do mention other seals which may or may not be in use (the grand/great seal), and provide instructions for the use of seals by notaries. In summary, this image does not exist outside of wikipedia and nor does any mention of it exist - the one exception to this is the use of the image on politicos.do, which I am inclined to believe is because they sourced this image from the Spanish Wikipedia, any other attempt to find similar images will have you met with the symbols of Dominican embassies and consulates. I would of course be grateful for someone with a knowledge of Dominican Republic law to provide their insight, but to prevent the spread of misinformation regarding Presidential symbolism I believe this file must be deleted.
