DescriptionSwindon Works diminutive 0-6-0 saddle-tank in scrapping-shed geograph-2578873-by-Ben-Brooksbank.jpg
English: Swindon Works: diminutive 0-6-0 saddle-tank in scrapping-shed.
With the much larger remains of a 'Star' 4-6-0 behind, ex-Burry Port & Gwendraeth Valley Railway No. 2194 'Kidwelly' is also being scrapped. It was built by the Avonside Engine Co. in 5/1903 and after the usual reboilering etc. by the GWR had survived until 2/53.
