Polski: - tradycyjny polski zwyczaj święcenia pokarmów w Wielką Sobotę. Ten koszyk ze święconką zrobiono we wsi Ćwikły-Rupie (woj. podlaskie) na Wielkanoc 2006. Zawiera: kiełbasę, jaja na twardo barwione w łupinkach cebuli, sól, pieprz i chleb. Przyozdobione liśćmi borówki. Święcone pokarmy są zjadane na śniadanie w Wielkanoc.
Deutsch: Österliche Fleischweihe; Fleischweihe zu Ostern; Speisensegnung. Dieser Brauch wird besonders in Bayern, Südtirol und Österreich gepflegt. Er lässt sich bis ins 7. Jahrhundert zurückverfolgen. Speisen wie Eier und Fleisch, deren Genuss in der strengen mittelalterlichen Fastenordnung verboten war, gewannen durch diese österliche Segnung im Volksglauben besondere Bedeutung und Kräfte.
English: traditional Polish custom of blessing food on Holy Saturday. This święconka basket was made in Ćwikły-Rupie (Podlasie voivodship) for Easter 2006 and contains: kielbasa, boiled eggs (coloured with onion), salt, pepper and bread. Decorated with bilberry leaves. Blessed food is eaten on Easter breakfast.
