English: Veterans of the 1808-1809 sieges of Girona. This photograph is dated 5 November 1864 around the 55th anniversary of the 1809 siege. Most of the people in the photo are between 80 and 85 years old, hence they were in their mid-20s during the sieges. Note the three flags in the background. From left to right, D.
