Summary

[edit]

Letter W I use for my icon on my WOW user box feel free to use it for what ever you want. I made this all in Adobe Photoshop Elements. I created this by using the Gradent tool one direction then the other I changed it from normal mode to exclusion and changed it to a circle did it twice to make it have that cool shadeing. created the W in the center and made it with a a bevel and did the same with the background then I realised that the real one has an orange circle as the border so I created the circle with the custom tool then I used the gradiant tool from the top right hand corner to the bottom left hand corner. However it also shaded my transperncy on the shape layer, so I used the magic wand to crop the circle however after some trouble I resorted to the lasso for the stubern part for the final touch I used the magic wand (with some trouble) to get it to leave some of the edges, I deselected what i did not want to be cut out that was selected in the center for some reasion with the laso tool. I could could not remove the part that was out side the circle on the right, however I was satified with the final result so I finished and used save to web.

Created the center by the same process (gradent tool exclusion and inclusion) however useing circles instead of squares and started with blue instead of orange.
