Summary

Description
English: Interior components of the SuperDisk device for Macintosh. Internally the drive uses an IDE interface. To make it work for the Mac, a USB to IDE adapter was built, which clips onto the rear of the drive casing using a compact centronics-style connector. The USB-to-IDE adapter plugs into an intermediate adapter inside the drive casing that fans out the IDE pins to regular size. There is also a power connector on this intermediate board, and the drive can not function using only USB power.
