English: Sun shines through the open sections of the deck and illuminates the haze inside the empty cargo hold of asphalt Liquid Tank Barge (Double Hull) Endeavour, Registry: 1212768,[1] having its deck plates replaced. The barge was docked in Muskegon, Michigan, US at the time this photo was taken. Visible in this photo are the coils at the bottom of the tank used for keeping the asphalt in a hot liquid state. Things captured in the photo that would not be present while holding asphalt are work safety equipment such as respirators, fire blankets, walking platforms, a ladder and a welder working while harnessed at the top of the tank. Endeavour was constructed in 2009 by Jeffboat of Jeffersonville, Indiana, as a heated asphalt tanker for Andrie, Inc., of Muskegon, Michigan. She was paired with the tugboat Karen Andrie upon entering service.
