Summary

Description
English: The central intrusive complex of the Summer Coon Volcano, located in the Rio Grande National Forest in Saguache County, Colorado, about ten miles north of Del Norte. The volcano, an Oligocene stratovolcano, is largely eroded. It is located in the San Juan Volcanic Field and is on the western edge of the San Luis Valley.
