Mikaela Robbins, Damage Control Assistant of the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Shoup (DDG 86), explains the voyage management system to the students of Fiji Maritime Academy in the pilot house during a recent port visit in Suva, Fiji Oct. 16, 2018. Shoup is currently participating in the Oceania Maritime Security Initiative (OMSI) program, a Secretary of Defense program leveraging Department of Defense assets transiting the region to increase the Coast Guard’s maritime domain awareness, ultimately supporting its maritime law enforcement operations in Oceania.
