Summary

Description
English: A single flower of Strumaria chaplinii (seen here in profile and considerably enlarged)) borne by a cultivated specimen in the Davies Alpine House, Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew. Note subtle pink stripe and pointed tip of exterior/underside of each tiny tepal. Also the striking maroon colour of the unripe anthers.
