DescriptionStritzinger Building, Buffalo, New York - 20200723.jpg
English: The Stritzinger Building, 871 Seneca Street, Buffalo, New York, July 2020. A Buffalo landmark since 2019, this vernacular Italianate commercial block is named for its builder and original owner, Anton Stritzinger, who kept a saloon here from c. 1893 through 1911, whereafter it served variously as a shoe store, candy store, billiard parlor, barbershop, heating contractor, and rug cleaner. It was purchased by its current owners in 2006 after four and a half decades of vacancy, and is now a live/work space.
