Summary

Description This Strasburg Rail Road switcher engine is a General Motors Electro-Motive Division SW8 that was built in February 1953. The unit was originally New York Central Railroad # 9618. It has also seen service as Lewisburg & Buffalo Creek Railroad # 1500, Larry's Truck Electric # 8618 (initials LTEX), and Conrail # 8618.
