Summary

Description
English: Straight leg raises help to partially strengthen the quadriceps without the need to bend the knee. This mostly works the rectus femoris and iliopsoas (hip flexors). The knee should be kept straight, legs should be lifted and lowered slowly, and reps should be held for three to five seconds.
