Description

Reverse of 1860s stereoview picture which has the original label on the back: "Ilfracombe from Hillsborough. Photographed and published by W. Palmer, Lynton". This would be Lynton in Devon. The photographer ran the family firm William Eastman Palmer & Sons in the Plymouth area in the 1860s and 1870s.

This is an unedited scan. Editors please note that the original backing card really is bright yellow like this.
