Description
English: "Holy and Godly Gospel Book", page #2. Printed in Bucharest in 1723 during the reign of Nicolae Mavrocordat, in Romanian with Cyrillic characters. The image shows in the left the coat of arms of Moldavia (an or/aurochs head) and in the right the coat of arms of Wallachia (aquila and Cross). See also: Page #1 of the book.

Author I, user:adriatikus, have extracted page #2 from the PDF released by Stavropoleos Monastery, a digitization of the 1723 original found in their library. Originally printed during the reign of Nicolae Mavrocordat, under the authority of Daniel, Metropolitan of Wallachia, by priest Stoica Iacovici.
