English: This photo depicts a life-sized granite statue of the Ancient Egyptian goddess, Sekhmet. It is believed to have been one amongst hundreds of similar statues at the Temple of Mut at Karnak, Egypt. The statue dates back to the 18th Dynasty, c. 1360 BCE, and is now part of the Royal Ontario Museum's collection of iconic artefacts.
