English: Female statue. Island marble. Found in Delos, in a sanctuary of Artemis. One of the earliest monumental statues in stone, it probably represents the goddess Artemis. To the left thigh of the statue is an inscription, dedication to Apollo by the Naxian Nikandre. Daedalic style. Ca.650 BCE. N°1
