Summary

Description
English: Statfold Barn Railway - Barber: Another surprise at the Great Miniature Engine Weekend was this locomotive visiting from the South Tynedale Railway. This is an 0-6-2ST built in 1908 by Thomas Green of Leeds as No. 441. It is thought to be the only Thomas Green locomotive in the northern hemisphere although there may be another 3-4 below the equator. It was built for Harrogate Gasworks and had to negotiate a famously low bridge - hence the cut and shut appearance of the cab. It is on loan from Leeds Industrial museum and returned to steam in 2015.
