Description
English: Lieutenant Lachlan J. Caskey of the 5th Queensland Contingent. Lieutenant Lachlan John Caskey was killed in South Africa in September 1901. The Caskey Monument at Toowong Cemetery in Brisbane was erected in his memory and is the first known Boer War monument built in Queensland. (Description supplied with photograph.).
