Description
English: View of Tenterfield, New South Wales, 1887 First European settlement was in the late 1830s. The Deepwater pastoral station to the south was taken up in 1839 and the run later known as Tenterfield was first occupied in 1840. By 1887, Tenterfield was a thriving town, the railway arrived in 1886.
