Summary

Description
English: P&OSN Co 699 GRT liner Chusan, built by Miller, Ravenhill and Walker of Newcastle-upon-Tyne for the Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Co. She was launched in 1851 and completed in 1852. She arrived in Sydney, New South Wales on 3 August 1852, making her the first P&O steamer to visit Australia. David Sassoon & Sons of Shanghai bought her in 1861. She changed hands again in 1867 and 1868, being renamed first Kofuyo and then Kayo. She was hulked in 1872.
