| Description | View of the starbord elevator of the U.S. aircraft carrier USS Randolph (CVA-15), in 1958. Randolph was refueling the destroyer USS Willard Keith (DD-775) during a deployment to the Mediterranean Sea from 2 September 1958 to 12 March 1959. Several aircraft of Carrier Air Group 7 (CVG-7) can be seen: next to the elevator are two McDonnell F2H-4 Banshees of Fighter Squadron 71 (VF-71), further aft are two Douglas AD-6 Skyraiders of Attack Squadron 75 (VA-75) "Sunday Punchers". On the elevator is a Grumman TF-1 Trader COD-plane. |
