Description
English: 300th birth anniversary of the Russian polymath, scientist and writer Mikhail Lomonosov (1711–1765). The souvenir sheet of Russia, 17 November 2011, 100 Rubles, Catalogue of PTC Marka # 1543; Michel # 1775 (Block154). The stamp: the portrait of Mikhail Lomonosov by an unknown painter. The medallions on the margins of the souvenir sheet (from the top left clockwise): the reproduction of the painting Young Lomonosow on His Way to Moscow by N.I. Kislyakov; the building of Kunstkamera in Saint Petersburg; the main building of Lomonosow Moscow State University; Zaikonospassky monastery where Slavic Greek Latin Academy used to be.
