Central window: Modern inscription below: "Elizabeth FitzWalter, wife of John, Lord Dinham". Dynham arms. A lady praying, with Dynham arms on her outer mantle, with FitzWalter arms on the front of her inner garment. Below Orate pro Denham d(omi)na ("Pray ye all for Lady Dinham"). Right, Modern inscription below: "Robert Cavendish"; the village and former manor of Cavendish is nearby. above kneeling man are the arms of Cavendish, with partial inscription: Orate p(ro) a(n)i(m)a .... ("Pray ye all for the soul...(of)..."). Window at left, Modern inscription below: "John Gedney". Kneeling man with shield above displaying: Argent, on a fess azure between three torteaux two and one three fleurs-de-lys proper (Gedney (?)) impaling: Sable, a bend argent. Unknown. |
