Summary

Description
English: Staincliffe Hall Road, Batley. This is looking north towards Christ Church, which was built in 1867 to serve the growing suburb of Staincliffe. It is in the Gothic Revival style with a tall west tower. This was designed to have a spire, but it was not built. In front is a primary school, probably originally associated with the church, and in between, out of sight, is the vicarage.
