Summary

Description
English: The former Synagogue of Stade, the actual prayer hall was on the first floor and used as such between 1873 and 1908 by the Stade Synagogal Congregation (Synagogengemeinde Stade, est. by 1811, dissolved in 1941). This location, the timber-framed rear building of Hökerstraße #26, was at times addressed as Hökerstraße #27, however, technically it is accessible from the street Cosmaekirchhof on the northern façade of Ss. Cosmae et Damiani Church. Seen from southeast.
