Summary

Description
English: St Thomas Church in Monmouth, built in circa 1180 is situated on the south bank of the Monnow River or "Overmonnow" as travellers had to cross the Monnow to reach it. It is located very close to the Monnow Bridge and both were damaged in circa 1230 in the Battle of Monmouth.
