Summary

Description Interior of Church of St Paul, Mirfield, West Yorkshire, designed by William Swinden Barber in 1881. Carving on north side of arch which encloses the great east window. The carving possibly represents a bird, reptile or mythological creature, but its head and right foot are broken off.
