Summary

Description

Interior of Church of St Paul, Mirfield, West Yorkshire, designed by William Swinden Barber in 1881. Showing barrel-vaulted chancel ceiling with carved wooden ceiling-bosses. Since the bosses are hand-carved in the Arts and Crafts tradition, there is probably some variation in the patterns.

Note: this image is not out of focus. It is a low-light image achieved by taking a black photograph then making the image appear by increasing the gamma.
