Summary

Description Interior of Church of St Paul, Mirfield, West Yorkshire, designed by William Swinden Barber in 1881. Note: There is no public access to the St Paul's Mirfield tower. View down the tower's spiral staircase, from the top. There are no handrails, but the staircase has good width, and a finely-curved stone wall-lining. The interior of this exterior-turret spiral staircase is a larger version of the one at Beckwithshaw Church, North Yorkshire, also designed by Barber.
