DescriptionSt Michael's Pant, Market Street (geograph 6850697).jpg
English: St Michael's Pant, Market Street. Drinking fountain on the south side of Market Street, built in 1765. It is in a stone shelter built in the 18th century Gothic Revival Style, which makes it appear medieval. An iron gargoyle, a mythical monster, forms the water spout which empties into a low stone trough. A statue of St Michael and Dragon (the symbol of the Town) stands on the top. The pant is Grade II*-listed (List Entry Number: 1041464).
