English: St Mary's Church, Cowlam, East Riding of Yorkshire, England. The church stands on the site of an earlier medieval church and was built in 1852 to designs supplied by a Miss Sykes of Sledmere. The church is hidden away behind barns and buildings at a typical large Wolds Farm. Otherwise, Cowlam consists of a large Victorian rectory nearby and a few cottages further up the road.
