English: St Mary, Bottesford The soaring spire makes this, after Melton and Leicester, the "paramount parish church of Leicestershire" according to Pevsner. The tower (94 feet) and spire (113 feet) originally date from the C15th, but were rebuilt in 1876. The church is designed mostly in the Perpendicular Gothic style, and the oldest parts date back to the C13th. Grade I listed.
