Summary

Description
English: The engraving showing St Mary's Church with its spire intact, Lee's Lane Poor house aka St Mary's Lane Poor house (built 1820) and the back of the Tholsel (townhall) was created by J. Kirkwood after Kilkenny Archaeological Society founding member James Graves from nature, however, this seems to be a kind of panoramic view, because the poor house would have to be in the back of the sketch artist to show the church in that angle
