English: St Mary's Church, Llanfairpwllgwyngyll The church in the hollow of white hazel trees - the one in the town with the longest name in Wales. In the mid 19th century, Llanfairpwllgwyngyll was a thriving town and it was decided that the church was much too small. The old church, which dated from the Middle Ages, was pulled down and the present church was built.
