Summary

Description
English: St John the Evangelist's parish church, Upper Maze Hill, St Leonards-on-Sea, Hastings, East Sussex, England, seen from the west. The church was designed by Sir Arthur Blomfield and built in 1881. It was damaged in the Second World War and rebuilt 1950–54 to designs by HS Goodhart-Rendel after being damaged during World War II. The southwest tower is the main surviving part of the original building.
