English: St Helen, Ashby by Partney The chancel of the church was formerly thatched, but in 1824 this was replaced with tiles. In 1841 St Helens was rebuilt and consecrated. There is a monument to George Gilbi 1580, from the previous church. Entrance is by a porch in the tower on the south side.
