Steps lead down to an undercroft > https://www.geograph.org.uk/submit.php below the sanctuary, which might once have been served as a crypt or a treasury but in later days was used to hold overnight prisoners on their way from King's Lynn to Norwich. The church is open every day. For more information see: http://www.norfolkchurches.co.uk/brisley/brisley.htm
