English: St. Mary the Less in Trumpington Street This small church dates back to the 12th century. It is also known as Little St. Mary and was originally called St. Peter-without-Trumpington-Gate. Peterhouse College, which stands next to this church, used the church as its chapel until 1632 and Peterhouse received its name from it. The church originally had a tower.
