Deutsch: Altes Gemälde von Willy Stöwer (* 1864; † 1931), abgebildet auf einer Postkarte die 1917 lief. Gemalt 1917 laut Jahresangabe unter der Signatur des Malers. Auf der Rückseite steht: "Versenkung eines feindlichen bewaffneten Truppentransportdampfers durch deutsches U-Boot im Mittelmeer". Gescannt 2005 von mir.
English: painting by Willy Stöwer (* 1864; † 1931), depicted on postcard sent in 1917. Painted in 1917 according to date below signature of painter. Text on backside says: "Sinking of a hostile armed troop carrier by German submarine in the Mediterranean Sea".
