English: Stele of Pierre Paul Riquet, Baron Bonrepos Cathedral Saint-Etienne Toulouse.
Français : Stèle de Pierre Paul Riquet, baron de Bonrepos, Cathédrale Saint-Etienne de Toulouse.

Texte de la stèle : "En avant de ce pilier sont ensevelis les restes mortels de Pierre Paul de Riquet baron de Bonrepos auteur du canal des deux mers né à Béziers en 1604 et mort le 1er octobre 1680 le caveau qui les renferme a été retrouvé en 1842 par la pieuse sollicitude d'un de ses descendants et la vénération d'une famille s'unit ici en présence de dieu à l'hommage déjà rendu par la reconnaissance publique au génie bienfaisant qui a crée la prospérité du Languedoc".

Au bas le psaume 17.7 en latin : "Diligam te domine fortitude mea: dominus firmamentum meum et refugium meum et liberator meus". ps 17.7.
