| Description |
English: The far north end of the Downtown platform of the Spring Street IND station, under 6th Avenue at Prince Street and Charlton Street in SoHo / Hudson Square, Manhattan. Pictured is a faux-IND mosaic tablet, which covers a former fare control area and exit to the street. Note that unlike the original Independent Subway System mosaics at the station, in which the letter tiles are curved to conform with letters like "S", all of the tiles on this tablet are square. Also, the blue tiles are not the same color as the original mosaics. |
