The Sprigg House at the Lincoln Home National Historic Site (1851). Julia Sprigg, who became a friend of Mary Lincoln, bought the house in 1853. Tad Lincoln played with Sprigg's children. Sprigg's daugter was an occasional caretaker for the young Lincoln children.
