Summary

Description
English: Spatharios as supporter in Iordache Cuza's heraldic monogram, as found on the 1841 grave of his daughter Maria at Podu Turcului; identified by historian Sorin Iftimi as possibly referring to Cuza family patriarch, Ioniță Cuza, who served and died as Spatharios at Moldavia's court (Alexandru Ioan Cuza. 200 de ani de la naștere, p. 27. Suceava: Editura Mușatinii, 2020).
