Description
English: Wheel house and tailrace at Spalding Power Plant and Dam complex in Spalding, Nebraska; seen looking west (upstream). Water is diverted from the Cedar River into a headrace; passes through a hydroelectric generator in the wheel house; and returns to the river via the tailrace. The complex is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. The wheel house was built in 1913.
